主持有湖北省自然科学基金、湖北省教育厅科学技术研究计划，大地测量与地球动力学国家重点实验室开放基金、襄阳市“汉江智库”课题等项目；参与国家重大科学研究计划、国家自然科学基金面上和国际合作交流等项目。已发表SCI收录论文15篇。曾获得国家建设高水平大学公派研究生项目全额奖学金、美国先进科学促进会（AAAS）会议全额资助奖、广东省江门市十大好人等荣誉。
